Today I started the day with listening to a tape on hypnosis that covered deep breathing and relaxation, followed by some suggested mantras that have been passed down through the centuries. Most of them told through the world’s religions. They are old but they still need to be heard. Like grant me the serenity to accept the things that I cannot change, the courage to change the things that I can. And the wisdom to know the difference. Along with some deep suggestions about goals, it was a good way to start the day. After listening to the tape, I fried up some eggs in a mixture of olive and canola oil. I cooked them at a really low temperature with the lid on top of the frying pan to speed up the process. Then I killed some time on the computer until I heard the sizzling coming from the kitchen. Then I jumped up and flipped the fried eggs. At the low cooking temperature the eggs were totally intact. And I could flip them almost without the spatula. The excess oil that I used and the low temperature prevents any sticking to the pan whatsoever making the eggs very easy to flip without breaking the yokes. And this makes cleaning the frying pan extremely easy, nothing sticks.
